The Chaos Has a Home Base Now

A kickoff note on where High Functioning Chaos is now: the blog, podcast, newsletter, store, memberships, and the messy middle holding it together.

High Functioning Chaos finally has a real home base.

Which sounds cleaner than it feels, because behind the scenes this has been a very on-brand mix of big ideas, late-night decisions, technical setup, scattered notes, emotional processing, and at least one moment where the correct response was probably just staring at a wall for a minute.

But we are here.

This blog is the center of the High Functioning Chaos ecosystem: the place where the longer thoughts live, where podcast ideas can breathe, where the story does not have to fit inside a caption, and where the mess gets to be useful instead of just loud.

What High Functioning Chaos is

High Functioning Chaos is Brandon and Monica Worobi talking and writing about the real middle of life: marriage, parenting, trauma, neurodivergence, CPTSD, ADHD, autism, burnout, repair, accountability, and the daily circus of trying to be decent humans while our brains are running seventeen background apps.

It is not a perfect-family brand. It is not a polished advice machine. It is not a place where every hard thing gets turned into a tidy little lesson with a beige quote graphic.

It is honest. Sometimes funny. Sometimes uncomfortable. Usually both.

Where the ecosystem is right now

The blog is the anchor. This is where essays, updates, behind-the-scenes notes, and the bigger conversations will land.

The podcast is the voice side of the same thing: raw conversations, stories, breakdowns, reflections, and the kind of moments that are easier to hear than to over-edit into something too shiny.

The newsletter is the direct line. No algorithm, no guessing whether a platform decided you needed to see another ad instead of the thing you actually signed up for. New posts, podcast updates, and member notes will go straight to your inbox.

The store is the wearable side of the chaos: merch for the ones holding it together, mostly fine, occasionally feral, and still showing up anyway.

The membership side is where we are building deeper access. Free members get the core updates. Paid members help support the work and get more of the behind-the-scenes layer, member-only posts, early drops when we have them, and store discounts that grow with the tier.

What to expect next

Expect this to grow in public.

There will be blog posts about marriage, parenting, communication, burnout, neurodivergent life, trauma, repair, and the small practical things that keep a household from becoming a group project with no project manager.

There will be podcast updates as we build that side out. There will be product and merch drops as the store gets sharper. There will be experiments. Some of them will be great. Some of them will be learning opportunities, which is adult language for well, that happened.

Mostly, there will be honesty.

Why this exists

Because a lot of people are functioning from the outside and barely managing the noise on the inside.

Because love can be real and still be hard.

Because parenting can be beautiful and still make you want to sit in your car for five silent minutes before walking back into the house.

Because neurodivergent families, trauma-shaped adults, and exhausted couples deserve conversations that do not sound like they were assembled by a wellness committee.

And because sometimes the most helpful thing someone can say is, same. Us too. Here is what we are trying.

Start here

If you are new, welcome. You found us at the beginning of the public build-out, which means you get to see the drywall and the weird wiring before everything looks intentional.

Subscribe if you want the updates. Join as a paid member if you want to support the work and get the deeper layer as it grows.

Either way, welcome to High Functioning Chaos.

We are mostly fine, occasionally feral, and very much getting started.
